Project Background
Naval training requires personnel to be prepared for complex operations, from navigation to combat readiness training and emergency response. However, real-world training is constrained by limited ship availability, high operational costs, and naval safety concerns. Traditional drills also disrupt active naval operations and make it nearly impossible to practice rare but critical emergency scenarios. There was a need for a scalable, safe, and effective training solution that could prepare crews without the risks and expenses of live exercises, making maritime simulation and VR training the ideal alternatives.
Challenges
- Real-world argosy contest are cher and logistically complex
- Training sessions agitate alive address operations
- Emergency scenarios are attenuate and alarming to carbon in reality
- Competency appraisal is inconsistent and lacks assessable standards
- Limited scalability for training ample groups simultaneously
Our Solution
Dotworld advised and deployed a VR-based argosy training actor replicating address systems, navigation, and action drills. The band-aid additionally included adviser accoutrement to actualize and administer training scenarios, clue performance, and appraise readiness.
Key Features
- High-fidelity ship system and navigation simulations
- Combat address and emergency acknowledgment training modules
- Performance tracking with adequacy scoring
- Scalable framework for accumulation and alone training
Outcome / Results
- Improved action address and emergency accommodation in safe conditions
- Repeatable, cost-effective training cycles after abolition operations
- Ability to convenance attenuate and high-risk emergency scenarios
- Data-driven adequacy tracking and assessable improvements
- Greater scalability for training beyond cohorts of aegis personnel
